Questions regarding WJ NV242 (namely the output shaft)

I posted this over in the WJ forum, but I'm getting the feeling there aren't as many tinkerers in there... Sorry for the repost but I'd love to get some answers if I can

This is a call to all those who have taken apart their NV242 that came in their WJ...

I'm in the process of doing a 231 to 242 swap in a 2001 XJ and managed to source a solid NV242 from a rolled 2004 WJ and found that the tailshaft housing is indeed cast for the XJ-style speedometer sensor, but not drilled:

My question is this - does the WJ NV242 have the teeth on its output shaft needed to drive the speedometer gear? I'm a bit limited on time as of late and haven't ventured so far as to start disassembling it, and figured I'd ask. The output shaft should have the teeth just in front of the rear slip yoke splines (to the left of the planetary gear assembly in the following photo):

Any thoughts? If the output shaft does indeed have these teeth, I'll go ahead and proceed with drilling out the hole myself.

Thanks in advance!
