Puul engine/tranny together or seperately?

My son and I will be replacing the frame on his Jeep. Is it easier to pull the engine and tranny together or separately? Thanks!

Together.

I pulled a YJ 4 cyl motor by itself once and the tranny bellhousing bolts drove me insane. Since you're going to be pulling both anyways, definitely do it together, including transfer case.

My last couple pulls have been together and its much quicker and easier. Just make sure you don't forget about disconnecting the TC shifter linkage.
