P0031, P0136, P0051 Check Engine Light

Hey Jeep Forum users!

I have a check engine light on my Jeep, and it is throwing three codes:
P0031 - O2 SENSOR 1/1 HEATER CIRCUIT LOW
P0051 - O2 SENSOR 2/1 HEATER CIRCUIT LOW
P0136 - O2 SENSOR 1/2 Circuit Low Voltage

Could this be three bad sensors, or is this a larger problem. I know which sensors these are, but I do not believe that is the issue.

Thanks in advance!

Josh Vallender

check your wireing. maybe u got a loose connection. do some google searches on your code. maybe your dirty cat converter is messing with your sensors. or replace the sensors and see what you get. idk shooting in the dark but those are the first 3 things id do.

first check a wire loom about an inch thick that rests on a stud popping out of the engine block. this stud can wear the loom and cause shorts. Inspect wiring closely.
these wires are towards the back of the motor near the firewall.
check if any o2 sensors have shorted out by wires touching the exhaust

if good then,

you need 2 upstream o2 sensors and 1 downstream sensor

p0051 &p0031 are upstream
p0136 is down

and check ecu for rust n stuff(wires)
