Opinions - FlowKooler High Flow Water Pump?

Well, I've got a slow leak in my radiator core. I figure it's time to replace it. It looks original ('84) and it's got a bad gouge in the center from where the fan chewed into it sometime during it's previous ownership (scares me just looking at it).

So, in addition to replacing the core I think I might go with the FlowKooler High Flow water pump while I'm at it.... and new hoses and themostat.

Anyone have any pros/cons with FlowKooler?

Thanks in advance!

Joe

I installed a FlowKooler a few years ago along with a Flex-A-Lite and new 3 row radiator and the combination keeps things nice and cool, but I live in the PNW where it never really gets very hot. Be sure to get a wire reinforced lower radiator hose if you do get the FlowKooler.
I think beefing up the cooling system like you're planning is a good idea anytime especially when going with lower than stock gears.
