Good day folks, I just purchased a 95 YJ , my first Wrangler but not my first Jeep. I just replaced the wiper motor and circuit breaker and the front wipers or washer pump won't work. The rear washer works but not the wiper.
On the switch, everything else works, the signals, the high beams just no wipers.
Try removing the delay box at the base of the steering column and connect the two C211 connectors directly. You won't have intermittent but the high and low should work if it's the module. If it is the module, I rebuilt mine. The link to how I did it is in my signature.
Sounds like it may be the wiper switch itself. Did you check fuse 4 in the PDC? Are you getting power out of the circuit breaker to pin 4 (dark blue wire) of the harness side of the C211 connector with the key in run or acc?
If it's the switch, it's not the easiest thing to get to but you can do it without removing the steering column unlike what it says in the FSM.
I found this relay by the E brake pedal and it has 4 broken wires. I assume this is for the rear defrost and rear wiper? Anyone have diagram or picture of which wires go where? they broke off right at the terminal
