NV241OR problem?

I just put a 241 in my jeep and it feels like there is slop in the transfer case. When you start out and release the clutch, you will hear a clunk sound coming from the transfer case area. The sound remains while shifting through all 6 gears and reverse. Also if you let off the gas and then come back on the gas you feel and hear the same noise. The drive shaft is a new Tom woods cv style. The front drive shaft is not on for diagnosis purposes. Noise and slop also in 4hi and low. Detroit locker in the rear ( same locker in my cj and I don't have this problem). New track bar bushings front and rear. New ball joints and tie rods in the front. Everything appears to be tight. Any help would be great, thanks.
