new temp gauge

i bought a set of three gauges...already install the oil pressure and volt gauge....i want to install the temp gauge however the temp sensor on the end of the gauge will not fit in the top of the head where the facotry one goes.....is there another place i can install this gauge i cant exactly take them back as the other gauges have been installed and it would suck to take the oil out of the hose for the oil pressure gauge.....can i tie the sensor into the radiator hose????....would that give me an accurate reading?????????

i dont think i fully understand the tee fitting.....actually i understand it....but did you put it in the radiator hose?????.....the one that goes into the radiator not the one that goes out of the radiator....that is what i was thinking of doing but i wasnt sure if it was going to work...

You put it in the small hose that goes from the water outlet to the heater core.
