New Mopar 4.7 I-6 Stroker Long Block

I was looking thru the December 09 mopar magazine and I saw that mopar is releasing a 4.7 Stroker long block motor for the Jeeps. They have 2 part numbers dependent upon year but they have i think 91-98 and 99-06. I left the magazine at work so i will post the specs tomorrow. But the Release date is Jan 2010. They part number i looked up was for the 91-98 long block and it would be my cost $3700.... List Price is somethin like $3178.

But i know i fail for no specs right this second but ill post when i get the magazine from work tomorrow...

Mopar 4.7 stroker

The March 2010 issue of JP magazine has a small Mopar article on page 19 says
"4.7L stroker long-block, which makes 265 hp and 290 lb-ft torque, and will fit any jeep that came equipped with the factory 4.0L inline six."

I'm hungry for more details. Will it need additional upgrades, injectors etc?
If it's not to pricey it would be a great way to add some needed HP/Torque.

LOL, they copied what people have been doing through internet research for years. Right down to the roller rockers, high volume oil pump, stock type pistons, and .060 over bore for max safe limit. I can assure you it's got a stock 258 crank in it as well. That's pretty funny.

Too bad they can't seem to bring out a Diesel for the Wrangler like they do in other "smarter" markets...
