New fuel pump problem

Hi all. My 98 Jeep Wrangler 2.5l has been having trouble starting. It ultimately starts when it wants. Lately when it does start it takes multiple crank cycles to get it to turn over and when it does it's a weak start. Sounded like the fuel pump was going out, so I juts replaced it. Now it's in the tank and I don't have any fuel going to the fuel rail. I didn't remove any fuses or relays. I sprayed started fluid in the intake and it started up as idled for a few seconds. When installing the fuel pump I noticed that three way plastic connection was broken. I went to the auto store to replace it but they didn't have one so I tried to rig it up temporarily. It looks like they are bent lines. They sit on the top of the tank one on each side and the connects to a third line that runs up to towards the engine. I think it's for the Evan system which I am not totally sure. Also the black box (again I think it's part of the evap system) on the drivers sidebars a broken vacuum line. Could this possibly be my issue or may it be something else. The Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
