New Engine - Changed Gearing???

My 2002 Wrangler has 456 gearing. Was very torquey - great for off road, not the best for highway.

Just got a new Jasper rebuilt engine for my Wrangler. After I got it back, the gear feels like it is back to stock. I heard this may happen with becuase of the profile of the cam???

Any ideas on why...and more importantly, what can be done to get back to the 456 feel?
