motorcraft vs weber

I am currently running a motorcraft carb on my 87 wrangler with the I6. The carb was a tremendous improvement over the carter, but I was considering getting a Weber. Has anyone had experience with both and am I going to see that much improvement from the Motorcraft to the Weber? Thanks for any info............
