Metal grinding noise...
I own a 03 Jeep Liberty- And here recently with the cold weather coming in, I have noticed a noise that I haven't heard previous years before in the winter time. I start it every morning and let it run for 5-10 minutes or so, once i start driving i can hear like a thumping noise when i go around turns and when I hit on the brakes to come to a stop- But what worries me is not too long after that I'm driving down the road and it will make this high pitch noise of metal grinding- So i will pull over and put the Jeep in park for 5 minutes and rev the engine a couple times and take off- After that it runs fine. Any suggestions on what it might be and how to fix it??

Check your front shaft, see if the boot at the rzeppa on the case is ripped, if so hold the companion flange at the case and then hold the shaft and turn them opposite of eachother and see if you have opposing movement, if so that is most likely your problem and you need a new rzeppa head.
If so visit your local driveline shop and have them change that rzeppa
rzeppa as in CV joint? interesting - would not have been my first thought.
I think you may have 2 separate issues. The thumping is definitely more likely to be related to the drivetrain - CV joint or joint boot, maybe - especially if it continues to occur in turns & braking even after the vehicle warms up/has been driven for a while. The grinding noise, if it goes away from revving the engine/getting it warmed up, sounds more like something related to fuel/engine system - perhaps a water pump or A/C compressor eating itself, or even just the drive belt squealing on a pulley (sounds godawful if you've no idea about cars).
If you can, listen and make some notes as to what you hear when, and exactly what you are doing when each one occurs and/or stops occurring. Might want to search for some YouTube videos of various broken noises as per our posts, and see if any of them match your sounds.
Technically every connection where a type of joint are used is a cv joint, there are different types of cv joints, that one is a rzeppa and not a universal joint.
98% of the time when the rzeppa goes bad in a liberty it make horrendous sounds that would lead you to believe it is something else.
