Leaky transmission...HELP!

Got a 86 wagoneer that started leaking tranni juice in the driveway!
I put some lucas before, could have caused the problem? Also I'm reading that maybe I should use ATF +4 as a substitute for the Mopar ATF plus type 7176 recommended by the Haynes manual. Thanks!

Dont blame a fluid additive like lucas on the leak, you need to find where its coming from and hopefully its something easy like a cooler line or pan gasket. More than likely due to age you have a seal or gasket thats worn or hardened/cracked causing the leak. You can use ATF+4, it basically supercedes the older mopar fluids.
