K&N Cone filter or K&N FIPK-What's the dif?

What are the differences between a cone filter kit and a FIPK? Are they the same thing or do I want both? I know it sounds silly, but I really don't know.

i ordered a k&n air intake kit, are there more than one type as far as performace, as the price is about $100 lower than another shop??
