Journey V Cherokee MPG
My wife has a 2012 Journey with 3.6 and my parents have a 2015 Grand Cherokee also with 3.6. A month after we bought out Journey we drove from Indiana to Florida and got 26 MPG on the interstate. Several people told me that once it was broke in the MPG's would increase a little. Now it has 80,000 mile on it and it has never gotten that kind of mileage again. It stays around 19 city and 22-23 on the interstate. I recently drove my parents jeep and it was averaging 27 mpg and that was not on the interstate. My understanding is the JGC weighs more and it is full time 4WD compared to the AWD of my Journey. I was surprised they were getting that much better mileage. Curious if there are any Journey owners out there that could let me know what you are getting?
