Jk shocks on yj?

In the process of building my jeep last two things I'm waiting on are rancho 44044 springs for the yj and shocks. Buddy of mine just put new shocks on his jk the old ones he'll give to me. The jk had about 4 inch lift and my yj with be at 4.5 with 37s anymore know if this will work or not a chance. Save me about 300$

I'd give it a shot, as long as they mount the same top and bottom and use the same hardware they should work, if not u might be able to modify them a bit. When u get them from your friend post some pics of them

its a rusty one
