My 06 jt is doing this right now, turns out I have a busted shock. I put new skyjacker shocks on less than 3k miles ago and I have a junk one already.

However!!! If the clunk is coming from up front I would check your sway bar links... The bushings may be shot. If you are parked walk around front and grab the bumper or something solid, rock the JP side to side and see if it makes the noise your talking about.

Did you check the rear sway bar links? They go bad to

Look up under the rear end above the driveshaft. Look to see if there is any diff oil on the body tub or the pinion yolk... The D35 is bad about leaking diff oil.... Ask me how I know lol. If you do have diff oil on the underside of the tub, your spider gears are gone. If that's the case you're better off doing a rear end swap. Find a ford 8.8 of an explorer and weld on the new brackets. The sounder gears are a fairly cheap fix, just not worth it in the long run.

Could be a spider gear issue also making that noise. If it is check it before a piece gets in the ring and you need gears.

Also if you run the t-case on any high traction surface and are making tight turns that will be the reason you break spiders
