Ingnition questions

any one know if it is possible to have a I6 coil on plug ignition retrofitted onto a I6 that was originally had a distributor? i keep getting water under my dizzy and i am tired of having to wait for it to dry out

Do you know how the water is getting in? I ask because you may be able to seal it with a fine bead of silicone. Had the same issue with a sand rail I had years ago and that's how I solved it. Used a little non-hardening silicone and sealed the cap. Problem solved.
