Ignition and Intake

I have heard that an MSD ignition can produce like 20hp. Is this true? Also, is the PowerAid Throttle body spacer worth buying? Any other relatively inexpensive ideas for power and efficiency?

can put a muffler on, K&N airfilter, set of Bosch wires and +4 plugs, I did all those to my 4 cyl truck, didnt notice power as much as better throttle response and a more usable power band, hope this helps
