craigslist or a pick and pull

i pulled one from harrys you pull it in allentown PA. it was 60 bucks for the housing with gears, shafts, and unit bearings. you cant go wrong for that price. i woulnt pay more than 100 on craigslist if it was pulled already.

I believe the bearing and rotor change occurred mid year 99. Which one you use isn't as important as keeping the correct bearing with the correct rotor. If you use your 06 bearing, use your 06 rotor.

So my 06 bearing will bolt onto that axle? And are the brake calipers the same?

Your 06 bearing will work fine (but it's also a good time to replace them). Your caliper will be fine too.

The have splines on them so they don't spin. I had the same problem, so I ended up cutting them off and drilling them out:

Cut off the threaded part, then use a punch to mark as close to center as you can. Start with a smaller drill bit and drill as straight as possible, and work your way up in bit sizes. IIRC, that's a 1/2" bit in the pic above.
