How To: Regearing a differential

First off let me say that I am a beginner in this area. I've never tackled one and am in the process of researching in order to do this myself, as I've heard that regearing isn't really that hard. I was initially a bit intimidated by messing with the differential, however, I found this video today and just wanted to share it. After watching it, it seems MUCH less daunting and definitely do-able. Mostly just a little time consuming if you have to keep swapping side gear and pinion shims. Yes this is for a Toyota, but it's the same process no matter the brand (to an extent). Actually doing the re-gear is pretty easy, it's re-assembling and setting up the entire diff that's time consuming.

Anyways, less talking, more watching! It's definitely worth the 30mins of video!

Also, here is the .PDF he mentioned in the video for analyzing the contact pattern on the ring gear when doing the test and what to correct.
