How many quarts???

M pulling my pan and changing the tranny filter on my 99' 2.5L with the 3 speed auto. (30rh I believe) how many quarts of ATF+4 do I need???? I'm not doing a full flush, just pulling the pan to change the filter an that's it... Also, to fill the tranny back up, do I just poor it in the dip stick hole?

Trans total capacity is around 8qts dry, expect to need 5qts if dropping the pan and replacing the filter, you may only need around 4qts or a little more though. Add fluid through dipstick tube and check fluid level in neutral position.
