how do you tell the difference 304/360

Just wondering how to tell the difference between a 304 and a 360 engine/ beside pulling the head. Thanks

Look on either side of the block, it is cast in about 1" tall numbers.

does that apply to 304s as well and all year model 360s? thanks

I'm pretty sure it applies to all AMC V8s
