Holes in Valve cover

I have a 91 YJ with a 4.0 . On the valve cover, the hole in the middle is for the oil filler cap. But what are the other two? Vents I assume. I can post links to pics if I need to, but I'm pretty sure someone will know what I am talking about.

The two others are for the CCV system. Are the valves on top of the cover where the holes are at missing? Thats not good. One hose should run into the intake manifold and one should (at least on my XJ, I know the YJ is different) run into the intake pipe, or the airbox.
