Is this estimated or calculated?

Was it a half tank according to the gauge or according to how many gallons it took you to fill it back up?

I dont trust the scanguage for mileage or your odometer readings at all since you dont have the correct speedo gear. I also dont trust the 1/2 tank measuring. You need to run several tanks before you can come to us with your results....................that is after you get the correct speedometer gear. Im not trying be an *** and I really hope you are getting 29 mpg by the way

So on one tank you increased mpg by 40 percent? Or at certain times it increased 40 percent?

post a picture of your setup.

how many gallons of water do you use per tank of gas?

if you do the stoichiometric equations to run a 4.0L engine fully on H2, with regard to extracting hydrogen from water, you'd need approx. twice the volume of water as you do gasoline to keep a 14.7:1 fuel ratio, but hydrogen requires a ~34:1 ratio

Not quite. When liquid turns to gas it normally expands to about 24x its volume. Also remember that the air fuel ratios that i quoted in your link are for regular air, and not for pure oxygen. For a good scientific test we need to see 3 tanks mpg (include indicated miles, actual miles, and gas volume from the pump) without the HHO, then 3 full tanks while using the HHO. I can analyze the data for statistical significance and if its not significant you would need to run more tanks. My scan gauge can be off by a gallon or 2 on each fillup so you should not use the SG for fuel volume. The miles should be accurate if it was calibrated to the GPS.

For those of you without calculators:

198 miles, 10.1 galons = 19.6 mpg
This are unadjusted mullage numbers (as I will keep them that way, it would be good enough for comparison purposes)
With HHO same driving
199 miles, 8.2 galons = 24.2 mpg
200 miles, 7.8 galons= 25.6 mpg
190 miles, 9.2 galons * (I was running out of water in the unit). = 20.6 mpg
