Help with starting Jeep fisrt time in the morning.

I need some help figuring out a starting issue with my 1987 6 cylinder Jeep Wrangler. This is only an issue the first time I start it in the morning when the jeep has sat unused overnight. The Jeep runs great the rest of the day. It takes a couple tries to start the Jeep in the morning. It turns over, but it doesn’t catch and start. Once it starts, while in neutral, I have to give it a little gas to keep the Jeep from stalling. Once I drive about ¼ of a mile it starts to idle fine and doesn’t want to stall out. Note that the starter & flywheel have been replaced recently, and had a carburetor overall a few weeks ago. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be?
