Help with power steering issue?

So I recently replaced my bad power steering pump, flushed the lines and everything was working fine afterwards. A few days later I was turning into my driveway and lost all power steering. No noises from the pump so I don't think that is it. When I am accelerating, the wheel turns easier but it is damn near impossible while not in motion. Any advice? Its an 02 grand Cherokee. Limited with 4.7 v8 mfi.

Well does it turn easier with higher rpm's or with speed? If it's easier with speed, I'd think pump. Easier with rpm either restriction in the lines or pump. Where did you get the new pump from?

Haven't checked with rpm or speed, just know that it turns easier if moving (obviously). I got the pump from Autozone due to price which I am sure was dumb. What about the steering gear assembly?

I'd be leaning towards the pump, sometimes the reman units go out randomly like that.

Even if it doesn't make any noise?

There is a seal that likes to go out on gearboxes, but when it does, you lose all your power steering fluid. If you still have fluid in the system, then you'd have a lack of pressure. So either blockage in the line or the pump.
