Help, Please. 2002 Liberty engine overheated

Just bought 2002 Jeep Liberty 6 cyl. auto. Drove approx 25 miles, ac quit working, engine overheated. Took to Jeep dealer said needed new radiator, new thermostat. Took to different mechanic, said needed new clutch fan because fan was spinning freely. Replaced clutch fan. Idled 20 min with ac on normal temp. Drove approx. 8 miles and overheated again. What's going on? Help?????
