Help needed

hi guys , just like to say hello and introduce myself .
had this liberty about 3 years - no real probs so far - new hub - front prop -just ods and sods really -- untill now - just cut out completly 3 times on the way home from work.
going uphill at the time 1/4 tank of fuel - cut out like youd turned the ignition off - ground to a halt - select p dash lights come on and start it up and off you go - for 500 yds - then same again
any ideas ???? please help
