Help to identify year and engine of Cherokee about 1996

Dear friends, I got an new "headache", a client bring me after one year in the sea port, a Cherokee limited, that someone brings from Europe...

I donīt have papers, and still donīt meet owner (lives outside from where I live).

Iīm not sure what model it is, and what engine it has!

I believe is an 1996, and the engine is 6 diesel.

Can anyone give me a hand, and may be if you have some engine manual provide it to try start it?

Best regards

Ural

Look through the windshield on the driver's side bottom. 17 digit number.
