Head compatibility

Its time for a new head- my 97 is aging. I found one from a 2000 XJ HO. (both are 4.0L). Am I going to run into any problems swapping these heads?

The heads will swap, but I wouldn't swap on a 99 and up head. THe exhaust ports are much smaller. They have problems cracking between the 3&4 exhaust ports. I'd have your head rebuilt or reconditioned.
