gears install

ok so finally got some cash together to swap the 3.07's for some 4.11's anybody know a good shop in Bay Area,CA. I found a classic/custom shop and they want $1400 for gears and labor OUCH. What did you guys pay...?

look for shops that do like technical/engineering work, should be like tops $300 hundred in labor per axle. So far I havent found any for less in my area.

07 JK 2D X model with 6 speeds. Full Traction 3" ultimate lift kit. 315x75x16 Toyo Open Country M/T on Rock crawler procomp rim. Ruby dana44's front sleeved inside/outside C truss and rear with 5.13's gears. Homemade rock guards, rear bumper w/tire carrier, oilpan/tranny skid, evap canister skid, light bar, switch pod. Riddler diff covers, Cobra 75 w/wilson antenna, Polk speakers, 10" sub, 2x Amps, Lightforce 240 drive light, backup lights, rock lights.

I've had it done twice. The first time was just over $1200 when I didn't bargain much, the last time was under $1100 when I pushed a little harder. Make sure you have whoever does the installation also provide ALL of the hardware. That way if something goes wrong, you won't be stuck in the middle as the installer and gear dealer start pointing fingers at each other and you're in the middle trying to get one of them to own up to paying to get things made right.
