Gas to Diesel conversion?

Has anyone every completed a Jeep diesel conversion using a Ford/Chevy/GMC/Detroit engine? Both my buddy and I were thinking about placing one in our CJ5. I have heard from other people that the motor mounts and the bellhousing conversion are a real pain but we might get everything else including the transmission and transfer case.

I've also heard that the new Liberty has a 1.8 turbo diesel but not sure where to find one here in the States. Thanks!
