Full Time 4X4 to Part Time 4X4?

Is there a way to switch from Full time 4X4 to Part Time?

Its gotta be hard on the drivetrain to be in 4X4 all the time, and I just blew my second set of CV's

Its a 94 Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2

Ant info would be great, thanks

i just became a member to ask the exact same Question. I have a 94 jeep grand cherokee also. only options i have is 4x4 high, neutral, and 4x4 low. I wanna be able to run it in 2wd. my transfercase is acting up so i was wanting to know what would be the problem of swaping it for a selectable 2wd????
