Fuel pump life expectancy ?

What is the average Fuel pump life expectancy ?

Mine I think was Garage kept it`s whole life, and probably not driven around on empty every day. Not sure about the gas history but I`m sure nothing nasty from what I can tell..

That said I have 240,000 on it and not sure if pulling the tank to swap the filter is a waist ? Should I swap out the pump to?

I have a 1997 and the filter can be changed separate just have to pull the tank to get at it.

Cheers

I would change it. They last a good while of use. That's a lot of miles on it. And with the new sugar cane fuel I would change it
