flywheel

What is a universal fit for this part number 3236259-a1. I can't find any other part numbers that will match this flywheel... my Jeep has been modified... and dropping in that motor has become a task.

Please tell us what you want. Youve asked flywheel questions without telling us what engine you have or what you are trying to do. If you dont know what youre doing how would we? Give us all the info.

Here are a few. This took less than 2 minutes to find. You need to use a flywheel that matches the engine.

Well sorry to be a pain but...thus part number can't be found. Thus part number was in the flywheel that was taking out that number is# 3236259 A9....if u can fund this let me know dude...

Shotgun123 08-22-2013 05:44 AM

like I said this cheap *** been modified.... I am just finding trying to find parts.

Shotgun123 08-22-2013 05:45 AM

when the drive shaft went... they had to custom cut one... if this is not a big deal to buy parts for I don't understand.

Don't sweat it. When you need a clutch in another 80,000 miles, get it turned again.

rjbruzan 08-22-2013 07:47 AM

You will not find a flywheel with that # because you are not at Jeep. MATCH THE FLYWHEEL TO THE ENGINE. Rock auto has at least 3 that will work. The clutch disk is matched to the transmission. Like 1 1/8 10 spline or 1 1/4 16 spline.

Shotgun123 08-22-2013 09:49 AM

well why is that flywheel on the old motor.... same exact year same exact motor. why did it work with the old motor.... plus the fly will that was on that later has a crank sensor I don't have a crank sensor

Shotgun123 08-22-2013 09:50 AM

are you really a mechanic anyways... or just somebody that think they know.

cruiser54 08-22-2013 02:31 PM

Boy, that was hard. Less than 3 seconds to Google the part number after all this bull****.

I wasn't trying to be sweet. Just pointing out how easy it was to do yourself without being such an *** to those attempting to help you.
