engine swap

Can I fit a chevy 350 L48 motor with a 350 turbo trans in a 1978 cj7?Without too many problems

I would check with advance adapters.

Do a search in the Cj forum for the GM swap. AA or Novak will have the trans to t case adapter you need.

Been done a million times, but peoples opinion of "Not too many problems" varies greatly. It is certainly not an uncommon swap and is very doable. Previous posters are corrent in directing you to AA and Novak. JB Conversions may have some options as well.
