ok i want to clean my engine, its pretty bad; coated in mud and such... what do i have to cover beisdes the intake to clean my engine? Free free to post what you use for an engine cleaner as well.

When I pressure washed mine, I also removed the battery. Park it so when you're done, the sun can shine right into the engine bay and dry things up all nicely.

I just sprayed some gunk degreaser on there and it worked like a charm.

Good Luck,

there are, supposedly (I haven't tried them), "carbuerator cleaners" that do not damage sensors or hoses, & you can spray them in the engine bay, then rinse --

but don't use brake cleaner on your engine bay, unless you are very careful because it will damage sensors & maybe even hoses -- I know this because I used brake cleaner & it ate the rubber casing off one of my sensors (I forgot to cover that one), sensor still works though; brake cleaner is known to kill MAP sensors when used to clean throttlebodies
