Emissions By-pass

I own a 82 cj-5 and had an engine fire. I to am trying to by-pass all the emissions crap and am woundering what still needs to be conected vacuum wise. I am having problems with the jeep loading up and stalling up hill only and have tried numrous float settings on the freshly rebuilt carb.(rebuilt by novice) Would mixed up vacuum lines cause this? Also does anyone know what all the vacumm lines coming out of the carb controll. I have almost all of them plugged except the one going to the electric choke.
