Doing ball joints, just ordered OTC 8031, is this overkill?
My balljoints are shot on the drivers side of my '03 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was looking for the miller special tool to do the job, but came across the OTC 8031 ball joint set for jeeps/truck for $273 with free shipping. It appears to be maximum overkill, but it comes with lots of adapters. The fact that it is OTC, i believe I can get adapters to fit anything.
Anyone here use this particular tool set? If so how did it handle the job?
Any pointers on doing the balljoints would also be appreciated, I'm planning to follow the factory service manual as well as a couple youtube videos.
Here is the master set at Tooltopia
Where did you find it for that price. cause the cheapest I have been able to find it is $315
