Did my Differential go out?

I was driving home today, and out of nowhere as i was taking off and my jeep made a sound like a hit something... it almost felt like the car was limping. Everytime i have it it gear now and i give it gas, it starts to kick and buck. Comments?

I don't know about your diff going out, but check your u-joints. Make sure there is no play in the driveshaft while you have it parked.

You might try isolating the problem. Put the T case in N and go through the gears to see if it is the trans. Drop the rear driveline, lock the T case to see if it is the T case or rear axle. Drop the front drive line to isolate the front axle. etc.....
