Dana 60 High Pinion

I'm looking at a stock front D60 high pinion w/ 4:11 from a 79 F350. The guy is asking $2200.00 and won't budge. Is it worth it??

What Jay said, you can build one from the ground up with a rock-crusher HP diff, and dedenbear knuckles for less than that. (Using stock shafts, joints, and spindles... but that would be what you were getting with the $2200 version anyway.)

ya thats a little high, i mean i have a 60/70 dodge 4.56 DRW for sale right now and i am only asking 1000.00. the one nice thing about the 78/79 ford 60's is they bolt right into a factory YJ. you have to go spring over but the pearchs are only off by a 1/2''.
he's on glue, unless he's all ready gone trhu the axle, locker, 35 spline outer stubs, internal drive flanges and all new brakes, then maybe i would tell him 2000.00 but only if it was built and built right, jason.
