dana 44 carrier series

I did some searching but didnt find what I was looking for. I have seen different carrier series for dana 44 but dont know what the difference is other than the break for gear ratios.

The flange that the ring gear bolts to is offset to accommodate the pinion and allow deeper gears. No real differences except gears that will fit them. Unless its a jk44, those I thought had different bearing or something silly.

What exactly are you looking for? The question is a bit vague.

I was just curious on the difference. I just bought and xj d44 and plan on putting a locker in it and didnt know if the difference carrier series made a differecent in what locker i needed. But if it has to do with how the ring gear bolts to it, then I assume there is just a high ratio locker, and low ratio locker, right?
