Does anyone know the spline count from the 44's that was in the jeep pickups?

pinion spline count?

Front axle? inner, outer?

Rear axle?

D44 = 30 spline on the shaft that enters the carrier.

The fine count on the later axles is a bit stronger due to their load bearing capabilities. I would be hard pressed to call the early models weak.
