Dana 20 question

I have a Dana 20 that was just rebuilt. My question is it has a male air connector where I believe a vent or something is supposed to be. Am I missing something? Or is this normal

It is the vent hose alll Jeeps have vents on the diffs that are piped high above to keep out water. Get a hose the appropriate size and if in front run up to top of firewall and clamp there should a vent valve in the end of it. If it is the rear same thing run up high and clamp.
