Damn the four bagner

just planning to get 33's soon and wanted to know how the 4cyl handles them hyway and off road.
I got a 91 yj 60000km 4bagner, 4" susp lift, 2" body lift, 4.10 gears,27" tires(god i hate them)crome bumper, lots of lights, sye,
brush gards, etc
soon to buy a dodge crate v8 motor, miammmmm
(if i can stop spending my money!)

I have close to the same set up as you do... I think that the 4cyl is fine with the 33" tires. On my '90, it handles very well on the highway, however, you don't gain any speed in 5th gear unless you are going down a hill of something... it works well as a cruising speed though. If i were you, i would go for the 33, especially if you are going to put in a bigger engine. Also, I am running stock gears, so with your 4.10's, you should be in better shape than me.

yeah.. i'd regear to 4.56's with 33's and the 4cyl. get a lot of power back..
