converting a 350 carb to TB

somene gave me the idea of switching my chevy 350 carbed to a TB set-up, would i be able to go to a u-pull-it and get the entire system from an older chevy pick-up and put it on my engine?

No reason why not. Main parts would be intake manifold assembly with all attached sensors, distributor, ecm. Depending on how good you are with wiring you could get by with just the ecm and a 6-8" pig tail to make a harness, fish out the entire harness or buy an aftermarket harness. You'll need to install a fuel system capable of maintaining 9-13psi also.

How about getting a rusted out/wrecked/whatever 87-95 donor truck and also use the serpentine belt system?
