I have a 1980 cj7 with a passenger side dana 30 front and a amc 20 rear. I have found on ebay (item# 230229877963) a set of axles out of a 70's truck. The rear is a dana 60 and the front is a closed knuckle dana 44. Both have 4:56 gears installed and were used as of last year. From what I have read the rear is not a major problem. My question is about the front, what kind of work am I looking at for the steering? Is there a better donor axle for the cj7?
