Cherokee Dana 44 High pinion

What years were these installed on Cherokees?
Would the fit on a 04 Tj?

I've seen a few listings of Cherokee front d44s but they were only from non-US models. I think there were some sold in Mexico w/ a front d44 but very rare for sure. I've probably seen 2 in the last 15 years.

The xj was built thru 05 in china d30's there.
There was a private owner factory in Mexico that built the xj thru 08 ( if I remember right). D30's & 44's dunno if the 44's were HP.
The xj was also built thru 2011ish in Africa. When fiat bought jeep they shut that plant done ( law suit).
The owner of fiat is a huge jeep fan.
