How much timing advance are you running? I set mine to 8-degrees at idle (500 rpm), which translates into about 15-degrees at 1500. This is much higher than stock, and it adds a little kick. However, you will need 89 octane gas (versus 87) and pay attention to the engine for a few days to make sure it's not pinging. Can't think of much else that is legal.
